Molted Lithophane → Ephemera, leaving, exoskeleton 

• pulsing/breathing?

• Relationship to proximity?

• If light = life, what does it mean for a leaving to pulse and breathe?

• Renewal, reincarnation, decay, digestion

The Heroes Journey Light brite

• Structure similar to a light brite, i.e. backing of opaque material with pegs/bits/surface inclusions of translucent material

• Joystick → move illuminated point around the map/image/sculpture

• Invites play, viewer “goes on a journey” through the piece

• Inspired by museum displays “Push button to illuminate area”
